Mint Builder Review – Legit Biz Op or Big Scam? Find Out Here…

Welcome to my Mint Builder Review!

You might have been approached by a distributor or spammed on Facebook or other social media about this company already…

I get spammed all the time with companies wanting me to join their business or buy their product, and it’s sad to see 99% of the companies don’t know how to approach people the right way.

The good news is that I am going to help you figure out if this company is for you by walking you through the company, the products and compensation plan.

Let’s find out more!

What Is Mint Builder?

Mintage Mining review

According to the Mint Builder website the company will help you…

“Build your short, medium & long term wealth by collecting fine Mint Coins at members only pricing & Bullion at cost pricing & earn a great income by showing others how to do the same!”

Also, on the company’s website, they layout how MintBuilder.com can help you, “Save, Learn and Earn.”

The Company

When you visit the company’s website, there is no available information on the administrators of the business, which means no info for the owners or operators too.

I dug around a bit on the company and found that the Mint Builder website domain was registered as “mintbuilder.com” on the 12th of October in 2017.

The registration lists the owner as Matt Barkes, who supplied an incomplete address located in West Sussex in the United Kingdom.

There is also a Facebook profile for Matt Barkes, where it states that he lives in the state of Indiana in the USA.

Barkes’ background in the MLM world has him listed as the founder and CEO of a company called ISN Coins back in 2012.

ISN Coins collapsed and was rebooted as ISN Coins 2.0, which also failed.

More recently, the ISN Coins website stated that they are now “Mint Builder,” which leaves one to believe that this company may be an attempt to resurrect ISN Coins under a new brand.

Now, why Barkes is not named on the company website is not clear, but this is something to take into account while you are doing your research on this company.

Reminds me of Kinetic Union.

Referral Program

The company uses a binary compensation model to pay sponsorship commissions to its affiliates.

The binary compensation model puts an affiliate onto the top of a binary team, where the next level is divided into a left and right side.

The 1st level of a binary team will hold two positions and the 2nd level of the binary team is made by dividing the first two positions into a further two positions each, creating 4 positions in total on level 2.

Any future levels of the binary team are made as needed, and each new level will hold twice as many positions as the level before it.

The binary team positions are filled through direct and indirect sponsorship of new affiliates.

NOTE:  The company does not limit the growth of how deep a binary team may grow to.

Residual binary commissions are also offered by the company and are calculated though a point system, where each side of the binary team can generate points:

  • Sponsoring a new affiliate generates 100 points
  • A retail customer or sponsored affiliate buying a Monthly Graded Mint Coin generates 25 points

The end of day marks when the company adds up all the newly generated points on each side of the binary team,

When 250 points are matched on both sides of the binary team, affiliates are paid $250.

This payout is referred to as a “cycle.”

A company affiliate can earn on a cycle each week depending on what rank he or she is at, and affiliates can earn on more than one cycle per week:

  • Affiliate – 1 cycle ($250)
  • Student Mint Builder – 2 cycles ($500)
  • Graduate Mint Builder – 4 cycles ($1000)
  • Professional Mint Builder – 10 cycles ($2500)
  • Master Mint Builder – 20 cycles ($5000)
  • Mint President – 40 cycles ($10,000)

What Is The Cost To Join Mint Builder?

The cost to join Mint Builder as an affiliate through an affiliate membership is $199 annually.

Conclusion

So, we’ve come to an end, and here is where I’ll share with you my opinion on this company…

I do not think this company is 100% legit…

This is for 2 main reasons: it pushes auto-ship sponsorship and it seems like this new version of the company is simply the old ISN Coin scam at play here with the unnecessary addition of Bitcoin…

Why does the company need to get so complicated over selling coins?

The company seems to operate with the retail sales as an afterthought, as opposed to its main focus.

When it comes to the company’s cost pricing and selling to others, here’s what the website says:

“Q: Can I access cost pricing without joining MintBuilder?

A: Unfortunately not, in order to access the amazing savings enjoyed by our members you must become a MintBuilder wholesale customer yourself.”

I checked out the competition’s prices online and found that there are much cheaper prices out there, which are readily available and do not make you become any sort of member.

It seems that Barkes is simply trying to start up a new company using an old business model with a new twist…

He’s taken the old business model and added Bitcoin as a form of payment for affiliates to buy and to payout affiliate commissions earned.

The affiliates do pay for a product and receive it, however the retail sales in this scheme leave this company lacking in sales in order to make profit margins that create wealth.

And a MLM company that fails in the retail department is a pyramid scam, FYI.

My advice? Be careful with this company as you are likely to lose your investment…
